WonderGirls welcomes new member HyeRim – goodbye SunMi

Photos of girls group Wonder Girls featuring its new member HyeRim have been revealed!

HyeRim had recently joined the group after member SunMi takes a temporarily leave to focus on her studies. And the photos taken on set to their cosmetics endorsement for ‘WG By WonderGirls’ have been revealed!

These photos will be good gifts for fans who have been able to see catch a glimpse of the WonderGirls who are busy promoting overseas.

PT: I still think that Sunmin is more beautiful and enchanting. The New girl, HyeRim is too fat and not very pretty, not even close to cute. Quite disappointed after waiting for so long for the new album.

G-Dragon cleared of all charges!

Big Bang’s G-Dragon was hotly reprimanded for having inappropriate performances in front of many young people during his concert in 2009. His concert was held in last December and he went under investigation for his sexual dance and the prohibited performances of songs that had been banned.

But on the March 16th, it was announced G-Dragon was cleared of charges regarding children’s protection law and the performance of banned songs.

YG Entertainment stated that his songs Korean Dream, She’s Gone and his album Heartbreaker got banned because of its ratings, but his concert wasn’t banned itself so it didn’t technically break any laws regarding performing. His concert was never initially marked with a certain rating, so his performances had the freedom to cross some lines. In conclusion, it was concluded that there was absolutely no reason for the concert to be charged against for its appropriateness.

As for the “bed scene” performance of Breathe, it was decided that the performance was just trying to express the song dramatically, so it wasn’t counted as a lewd conduct.

However, the police demanded around 3,000,000 won ($2,600 USD) as a fine; as a performer, G-Dragon and his associated staff have taken care of the matter.

YG Entertainment also said, “[The issue] didn’t go to court or anything so we consider it basically a pretrial disposition.”

The investigations took place on the 15th when police realized he didn’t technically violate any sort of law under children’s protection law and performance of banned songs. However, he is free of charges regarding performance laws. The non-edited versions of his concert DVDs will only be sold to people older than 18 years of age. Minors will have to buy the edited versions.

U-Kiss’ Kevin’s 10-Year contract is off

The day of unfair contracts seems to be coming to an end judging from this latest development regarding U-Kiss member, Kevin. With regards to the unfair contract that Kevin had signed with his former agency, XING Entertainment, the courts has ruled in favour of the former.

Months earlier, a new law had been passed pertaining to celebrities which ruled that that if a contract is too long or unfair in terms of the income and the amount of work someone does, the contract will be terminated.

U-Kiss’s Kevin is supposedly one of the beneficiaries of this new ruling that was passed recently. The high court announced, “His previous company made a 10-year contract with Kevin and now the contract has been terminated.” The court awarded the case to Kevin over XING Entertainment, his former company.

The court continued, “A 10-year contract is too long. It’s wrong in the context of social order. XING Entertainment was trying to keep Kevin under them for so long and they were taking rights from him. His profit was also unfairly divided.”

His contract stated:
-If albums sold over 500,000 copies, he could get 50000000 won ($44,000).
-If single albums sold over 500,000 copies, he could get 25000000 won ($22,000).
-If albums sold over 1,000,000 copies, he could earn 100000000 won ($88,000).

Most artists in Korea do not even sell over 100,000 copies of their albums, so this was a long shot. Kevin was living under an unfair contract at the time and luckily he is out of it now. Let’s just hope he has a better one with U-Kiss’s company, NH Media.

[Hot Shot] Hyori Is A Man! Lee Hyori (이효리) - Chitty Chitty Bang Bang [English / Romanized subbed]

You’re probably all thinking… what the fuck? This is quite awkward I shall say. This is not photoshopped!

Lee Hyori is not a man in fact, the weird thing is that she has more packs than some men. Crazy huh? We all know that netizens love looking for something to entertain themselves and a netizen captured a picture of Hyori performing “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” on Music Bank. The picture (as you can see above) shows that Hyori probably works out way too much. That’s good, it’s just too perfect.

Some netizens posted “it’s good to take care of your body” “Damn. She’s so hot” and others posted more info about how to get abs, how it’s okay for a woman to have abs and how good it is to be healthy. But this is sure as hella interesting. She doesn’t have the six-pack everytime you see it so don’t expect to see a man when you meet Hyori… one day. Anyways check out her performance.

Super Junior(슈퍼주니어)_미인아_뮤직비디오티져(MusicVideo Teaser)

During an interview with various press members, Super Junior revealed their feelings regarding their Chinese member Hankyung’s absence. These days, Super Junior has been promoting with ten members. Kangin is enlisting in the army soon, Kibum is concentrating on acting and Hankyung is caught in a legal feud with SM Entertainment. Leeteuk commented, “I think we forgot that Hankyung was a Chinese person because we worked with him for so long. It’s like how a family sometimes don’t share their feelings with each other because they see each other constantly. We didn’t really listen to each other’s problems. I thought about what a hard time Hankyung had to be in to do this. If he has a change of heart, his place is still empty so I hope he returns.” Although Kangin and Kibum have been supporting Super Junior on their comeback, Hankyung has currently cut off his contact with the members. Let’s hope his issues with SM Entertainment are resolved soon!

Lyrics for MBLAQ’s Y are in trouble!

MBLAQ’s comeback seemed to be on a good start with their music video for Y released just a few days ago and the track slowly rising in various charts. However, MBLAQ already received warnings from MBC, KBS and SBS due to the shooting scene in the music video, which they had to ultimately remove. Now MBLAQ is facing more problems, this time, because of the lyrics. MBC announced that the lyrics for Y were unsuitable for broadcast. The specific lyrics that were problematic were, “널 씹어서 뱉어준다” which roughly translates into “I’ll chew you up and spit you out”. A representative of J.Tune Entertainment said, “We will alter the problematic section and request a re-evaluation from the specific broadcasting company” Meanwhile, KBS did not find any problems with the lyrics of Y, and MBLAQ is awaiting the official review of SBS.

Boy group MBLAQ’s Lee Joon fainted because of an ice cream during a tv show recording.

MBLAQ recently participated in the recent recording of SBS E! TV ‘Shin Junghwan PD’s Variety Production’ as the first guests. This is a variety program where Shin Junghwan invites idol to become guests on his show and with his 17 years of experience, teachers them about variety.

The first episode MBLAQ played a lot of game missions during the recording. However during one of the game where they had to eat very cold ice cream for the mission, Lee Joon laid down on the floor. In order to avoid the punishment and ate the ice cream really fast Lee Joon said “because it was so cold I thought my head was going to crack” while laying down on the floor making the recording stop for a bit.

Luckily Lee Joon regained his normal breathing and flexibly got over it and made the atmosphere peaceful again by saying “The road of a variety idol is very rough.”
MBLAQ and Shin Junghwan PD’s rough variety attempt will be aired on the 25th 8PM through SBS E! Tv ‘Shin Junghwan PD’s Variety Production.’
