Shinhwa’s Eric Mun jumpstarts comeback

Fans of veteran Korean vocal group Shinhwa have reason again to come together as one excited community.
Less than two weeks after hundreds of fans welcomed him upon his release from Korea’s mandatory two-year military service, Shinhwa’s leader Eric Mun has begun filming for his comeback drama “Poseidon.”
Eric will play the role of Kim Seon Woo, a fun-loving but tough coast guard who climbs the ranks to become a member of the elite coast guard commando team; several scenes with fellow fellow cast member Choi Jae Hwan have already been shot in the northern Korean province of Chungcheong.
Shinhwa-starved fans will have to wait a little longer, however, to see Eric essay the role of Kim Seon Woo, as ”Poseidon” is scheduled for release in the first half of 2011.

Impatient fans who cannot wait until 2011 needn’t worry, thanks to a series of fan meetings scheduled by Eric’s management company.
Japanese fans, in particular, will be among the first to meet with their idol: Eric has confirmed fan meetings at Tokyo’s U-Port Hall on December 18 and Hyogo’s Archaic Hall on December 19.
Eric also lends his trademark rap style in Shinhwa co-member Shin Hyesung‘s new digital single, “Annyeong and Annyeong”. The single was released on November 19.
